September 23rd, 2011 marked the beginning of my 25th trip around the sun. I am seriously excited about the coming year and committed to living each moment to the absolute fullest! I see life as a fabulous game and I am certain that this year is going to be full of fun adventures, challenges, new experiences, and exponential growth.
Inspired by an amazing new friend, I am launching the year with a list of 25 things that I want to do by my 25th birthday. My goal is to have completed all of the items on my list by September 23, 2012. I will be keeping this blog to share the stories of my adventures. If anyone feels inspired to join in the fun for any of the adventures please let me know…I would love for you to participate in my journey!
The List (in no particular order):
- Bike ride from LA to San Diego
- Go tubing in the old sugar plantation irrigation system in Kauai
See a movie at Gold Class Cinemas in Pasadena11.14.11- Do one new hike every month
- Organize and execute Treasure Hunt Extravaganza: LA Edition
- Camp in Joshua Tree
- Participate in a lindy hop swing dance competition
- Road trip up the PCH to San Francisco
- Go rock climbing outdoors
- Ride 4-wheelers in sand dunes at Pismo Beach
- Try a new “classic LA” restaurant every month
- Go line dancing at Oil Can Harry’s
Make tamales10.11.11- Attend PSI7 (personal success institute workshop)
- See a concert at the Greek Theater
- Go to the massive flea market at the Rose Bowl
- Organize a TM Residence Course for young (and young at heart) people in California
- Sing karaoke: “Take it Easy” by the Eagles with Ami
- Design and sew a dress that I love
- Make a personal recipe book of all my favorite culinary creations
- Fly a kite on the beach
- Sing-a-long to Grease at the Hollywood Bowl
Spend a day exploring Laguna Beach10.9.11- Have my dad come visit me in LA and play
- Go parasailing with Marly!!!

What a great list. I would like to participate in some of those activities such as rock climbing outdoors, attend a music festival, hike each month, etc.

Hey Puk – want to make tamales together at xmas? I have a recipe I have had forever and have never tired them – AND they are my fav Mexican dish. Maybe Ami could bring up some ingredients from KC.

Yes! Lets make them at the holidays for sure. My mom really wants to make them too and she is going to come visit me in a couple weeks, we were thinking about trying them out then…but can definitely do more than once! and yes, I’ve seen a few TED talks…very cool! Any recommendations that stand out to you?
